Advisory: UOITFA Ratifies Tentative Agreement

(OSHAWA) Last week on the final scheduled day of mediation prior to the UOITFA strike deadline, the UOITFA and UOIT reached a tentative agreement on a new 3-year Collective Agreement for Tenured and Tenure-Track Faculty. Today, the tentative agreement for three years was ratified by UOITFA members with a vote of 96% in favour.

Tentative Agreement Reached

The University and the UOIT Faculty Association are pleased to advise that they have reached a tentative agreement. Details of the agreement will remain confidential until both parties have conducted their ratification processes, after which further details will be available. All classes and activities at the University will proceed as scheduled.
